A family saga
on the Côte Vermeille

The Grand Hôtel du Golfe is much more than a 4-star hotel with a sea view near Collioure: it is a family story. Born in the 1970s on the coastal road of Collioure, it captured the hearts of our parents, Marie and Jean-Michel Danoy, who made it their life project in 2008.

She, an artist and winegrower; he, an entrepreneur passionate about architecture: together, they brought the place back to life and created a generous Mediterranean garden around it. Their deep attachment to the Côte Vermeille and to hospitality continues to guide us today—my brother Nicolas and I, Caroline.

An architect and winemaker, Nicolas is leading a complete renovation in 2025, blending modernity with a seventies spirit. As for me, I bring this family home to life every day, opening it to travelers and meaningful encounters. Our story continues, driven by the well-being of our guests, our love for our land, and a commitment to responsible hospitality.
